The West Irrigation and Drainage Station of Jiangchuan Farm was built on the Songhua River embankment. It is an embankment-type pumping station and was put into operation in October 1976. After more than 30 years of operation, no seepage deformation or uneven settlement occurred in the main part of the project, and the operation is in good condition. However, problems occurred in the pump station’s forced discharge into the Jiangkong Paimen and the foundation concrete pillars of the factory building in the front pool.


The pumping station forcibly discharged into the river gate was originally a wooden structure, which has been damaged after years of operation, and the water leakage is serious, which affects the flood control safety of the dike and the pumping station. The foundation concrete columns of the auxiliary powerhouse of the pumping station are repaired in the forepool, and they have been running underwater for a long time. The concrete protective layer has been corroded seriously, and the steel bars are exposed and corroded, which affects the strength. There are cracks and water seepage on the side of the pressure pool near the plant. In order to eliminate the hidden dangers of flood control, measures were taken to replace the gates with flat cast iron gates, and carbon fiber composite materials were used to reinforce and repair the cracks of concrete denudation and cracks.

Composite fiber reinforcement measures adopted for concrete erosion and cracks. Its working principle is that high-strength composite fiber cloth and high-strength epoxy resin are glued on-site and pasted on the surface of the structure to be reinforced to form a composite bearing structure with the original components to achieve the purpose of improving bearing capacity and durability. Compared with traditional reinforcement methods (such as enlarged section, continuous steel or bonded steel, etc.), it has high strength, good ductility, light weight, simple and fast construction, and does not require maintenance. Moreover, the normal use of the original building will not be affected during construction, and it has the advantages of long life and comprehensive cost economy.


Epoxy resin is a mixture of two components, almost odorless, soluble, and low viscosity. The composite system composed of it and fiber cloth has high ductility and good mechanical properties.



The wooden racket door is replaced with a flat cast iron gate, and the injection anchor adhesive HM-500 strong planting technology is adopted to closely integrate the gate frame with the original building. The working principle is to use a drilling rig to drill holes on the original concrete base surface, and then use HM-500 injection glue to tightly bond the steel bar and the base material. HM-500 injection glue is a hybrid high-strength structural epoxy resin adhesive, styrene-free, safe and non-toxic. Moreover, HM-500 has low sensitivity to humidity, no creep at room temperature, high acid and alkali resistance, and anti-aging adhesive. The standard value of the bearing capacity of HM-500 injection-type planting glue is shown in the figure
