Bridge strengthening

Since the late 70s of last century, the fiber reinforced composites have been applied to civil engineering in the early 70s, and the fiber reinforced composites have excellent strength, specific stiffness, excellent corrosion resistance and widely used in concrete structures. Carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP) is widly used for bridge structural strengthening.
