Carbon fiber cloth reinforcement is a new type of reinforcement method in recent years. Causes of hollowing of carbon fiber cloth
1) Polish the concrete unevenly before pasting:

Therefore, the builder needs to polish the concrete foundation before pasting, and the corners must be ground into an arc shape to keep it dry. If there are cracks, the cracks need to be repaired and leveled before pasting.
2) Different thickness when brushing glue:
When brushing carbon fiber glue, be sure to apply it evenly, and you can apply more on the corners.
3) The surface glue is not evenly applied:
In addition to brushing the glue when pasting, even after it is pasted, it needs to be evenly coated to ensure the two-way infiltration of the carbon fiber cloth to achieve a better reinforcement effect.
4) Carbon cloth sticks unevenly:
The constructor must align the carbon cloth tightly when pasting the carbon cloth, and use a scraper to completely remove the internal air when pasting to avoid hollowing.
5) There is a problem with the quality of carbon fiber cloth:
If the carbon fiber cloth is too hard and the weaving is not tight, it is easy to cause the hollowing problem. When choosing the carbon fiber cloth, the constructor must ensure that the selected carbon fiber cloth is a qualified product.
Empty drum processing method
Most of the hollowing phenomenon is due to uneven brushing, or the air is not completely discharged. According to the different area of the hollowing drum, we can take different treatment methods.
Small area hollowing:
If it is a small area of hollowing, we can use the needle injection method, but this method may cause the problem of the needle not being injected, or it cannot completely solve the hollowing phenomenon, so this method is generally rarely used.
Large area hollowing:
If it is a large-area hollow drum, the constructor can directly cut off the hollow drum, then repair it with repair glue, and re-adhere the carbon fiber cloth to the hollow drum. When lapped, the overlap should be at least 10 cm; scrape; The board must be rolled back and forth when scraping the cloth to ensure that the air is completely discharged; the surface glue must be evenly applied.
